The Slippery Rock Crises Pregnancy Center is a primary outreach of Abba Christian Center. Hundreds of lives have been saved since its inception. We are very thankful for the abundance of God's grace that is upon the center.

Affirmations

For Life in Pregnancy: We seek to gently challenge and support each client to make life-affirming choices for herself and for her unborn baby. We do this by providing responsible, informed, woman-centered counseling, free pregnancy tests, and referrals for legal, medical, housing and financial concerns.

For Life with Abstinence: Through our Abstinence Project, we speak to hundreds of students and parents each year. Our presentations have one goal in mind: to help young people say "no" to the risky behaviours of sex, drugs, alcohol and tobacco, and "yes" to themselves and their life goals.

For Young Life and Families: Our Moms' Shop ministry began a number of years ago to provide in practical ways to pregnant women in need. We now reach over 200 families. We supply everything from maternity and baby clothing to cribs, playpens, diapers, baby bottles, strollers, furniture and toys.

The Pregnancy Center

Alternatives to abortion: We began the Center in 1986 by providing support for women experiencing unwanted pregnancies. We have helped hundreds of women, their partners, and their families. We can't just tell someone not to have an abortion. Instead, we listen to our clients' needs and give them ways to choose life.

The Abstinence Project

Say "Yes" to your life: We developed the Abstinence Project to encourage young people to abstain from the dangerous practices of premarital sex, and the use of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. The costs to individuals and society from these behaviors are great. We want to prevent the practices that lead to unwanted pregnancies and to broken lives.

The Moms' Shop

Let us be your friend forever: Our Moms' Shop provides material, emotional and spiritual support to mothers and their young children. We offer not only clothes and furniture but also our friendship. Through this ministry we have developed many long-term relationships and have seen a number of people come to know Christ.
